In this topic, we will discuss the three steps commonly taken during every inspection. Those three steps are (1) review documentation, (2) verify consignment identity and integrity, and (3) conduct physical examination for pests.
Objectives:
- Participants will explain the required procedures common for most standard inspections.
Although the inspection process is unique to each commodity, there are procedures common to every inspection situation. Below are the three steps common to most standard inspections.
The three steps in this process are a standard way to inspect any commodity. In some cases, additional tools may be used to help make a decision.
